Will Best Buy price match if my purchase is within the return window? I asked a chat agent and was told no as Verizon is not on their price match list of authorized retailers.

They only price match against a specific set of retailers that they consider their competition. Verizon is not one of them. I bought my Apple Homepods 2 through a killer Verizon deal. I wasn't a Verizon customer, so I didn't think that they would sell to me, but Best Buy refused (tried on-line twice & in-store. Even spoke to the store manager) to price match. Tried Target as well, but nope. No one would meet the price. I placed the order through Verizon, and the order went through without a problem. Delivered in 2 days with free shipping. I wouldn't hesitate on this deal.

Great price for anyone on the fence, I really like them and have had all 3 gens. It's nice to finally have one that doesn't slip out of my ears during workouts. These are definitely the most comfortable even over previous gens with a foam eartip replacement

I got Staples (in store) to price match. Additionally, if you are a rewards member, you can activate a current offer on your account for $10 in points for each $50 you spend in store. That's $30 in points back on this, (or $40 if you buy filler(s) to get you over $200).

No idea whether Verizon is an official price match competitor for them, but my store is friendly and did not ask any questions or seem to look anything up.
