Umm, not to be that guy, but since these have only been on the market for 4 months, this comment must be referring to a prior generation???

These were just released mid September so it hasn't been more then 5 months, what are you talking about? Did the pro 3 fail, or another version?

AirPods Pro 3 are drawing attention for strong fit and comfort, with better in ear stability than Pro 2 and workouts without slipping. ANC and sound quality get mixed real world feedback, with some long term reports of solid noise cancelling and others noting ANC failure after about a year or saying audio sounds terrible. The bigger story is the Verizon sale, where the price often drops to about $184 in cart and can include free shipping or pickup, but checkout, tax, cancellations, and returns have been unreliable. A tempting price if the order actually goes through.

  • The checkout flow can complete for non-Verizon customers without needing a Verizon account.

    EfficientLumber3711Eragornwhitwo

  • The in-cart pricing can show the discounted amount after adding the AirPods Pro 3 to cart.

    EfficientLumber3711Rayfirepur

  • The AirPods Pro 3 fit better in-ear than AirPods Pro 2 for some buyers.

    SociableString8033

  • The AirPods Pro 3 can stay comfortable during workouts without slipping out for some buyers.

    Yotsuna

  • Verizon orders can experience pricing mismatches where the cart price rises above the advertised sale price.

    saltie95razorsealrazorseal

  • Verizon checkout can fail for existing Verizon customers, with Apple Pay and cards declined despite pre-authorization.

    NICEElife

  • Verizon returns and refunds can take months and may require escalating to the Better Business Bureau.

    AmusedMoon6137

  • Active noise-cancelling can fail after about a year, which may leave the issue beyond warranty coverage.

I find the ANC fails after a year so it's past warranty. So annoying.
My AirPods Pro 2 still work fine. But unlike most people, I clean mine once or twice a month. If the mics get dirty, ANC will not work as well.

I got Staples (in store) to price match. Additionally, if you are a rewards member, you can activate a current offer on your account for $10 in points for each $50 you spend in store. That's $30 in points back on this, (or $40 if you buy filler(s) to get you over $200).No idea whether Verizon is an official price match competitor for them, but my store is friendly and did not ask any questions or seem to look anything up.
I was also able to price match at Staples in-store. Ended up redeeming my rewards. They are also able to add AppleCare+ 2 year for the standard $39 price at checkout.

My AirPods Pro two works, but the charging case sometime it does not charge the left, but with a Q-tip wipe it it charges

Thanks op grabbed a pair. My wife's pro 2s are half broken (she washed and dried them) so she gets mine and I get the 3s. Had $125 Verizon credit I didn't think I'd use until I got a new phone - so nice!

Verizon messing with anyone else's tax rate? They're charging 10.25% tax when my state/city only charges 8.75%. Effectively making these $186.50

Oh wow, it does look like they are adding 1.5% in many places in California...

Kids, don't take your electronics into saunas.
The pro 3 works after both buds were in a whole wash cycle

Saunas go up to like 200°F, that will destroy all sensitive electronics

Plus other people using the sauna to relax might not be interested in listening to your music.

Yes. I ordered 2 days ago. I got order confirmation screen, but my card was not charged. No email from verizon. I called them and they can't find my order. I don't know what's going on, if they will change me later or if order didn't go through. Horrible experience. Will never order from them again

Possibly dead? Verizon product page shows $184 but cart/checkout screen shows $249. About an hour ago it all showed correctly, I just got busy and couldn't finalize it.

So when I put it in my cart, price goes back up and at checkout it's regular price. I went to the Verizon store and same thing happened to them and they couldn't adjust the price. Anyone else having the same issue?
