I've had a Flexispot E6(don't really remember the model name. It's the one with upright mechanism not like the inverted ones we have nowadays) for ages. It's so heavy and built like a tank.. Had some issues with motor, but clears out with resets.. Just a pleasure everyday at my home office.

Yes, that's the motor rating. I'm not a fan of these Flexispot Amazon combo units. They're usually cheap for a reason. In this case, a weaker motor and a large but split 2-piece desktop. I built my own using a dual motor Flexispot base with an IKEA solid wood top.

I got a cheap model awhile back but not a fan of the mechanical mechanism. This looks to be alot better. Though I wouldn't do a spliced board again.

No, because the one I have isn't produced anymore. Just Google "IKEA solid wood top." Or "solid week desktop." Butcherblock is probably too thick and heavy for a desk so don't look at that.
