Oupes' Member's Day sale has some great deals on portable power units that haven't been posted yet. The 1488Wh Oupes 1800 is $299 with free shipping while the 2232Wh Oupes 2400 is $449. At least some states like Florida don't charge sales tax. I was not able to get the additional 5% off code (PINBALL5) to work.

Note: You may need to apply coupon on product page to see sale price

Curious about the thumbs down. I thought this was a fantastic deal...I even bought an 1800. Is there a better 1.5kwh battery pack out there?

Just a heads-up that the deal looks like it will expire in just under 5 hours...2am ET.

Not sure what the deal is with Oupes cutting prices. They have several models for the $300 range (Mega 1, Exodus 1500, and this one) that are decent units.
I bought the Mega 1 and the Exodus 1500 to give to my kids for their apartments. Not happy with the Mega 1, at 20%, it drops output to 400w. Both of them have loud fans that come on often and on high. Their app is junk, not much you can do with it except monitor status. Part of me is wanting to return the Mega 1 and get the 1800 instead.

at a glance, the 300w inverter cap. would not be worth the tradeoff for such low charging rates and light duty connections to do so. would be better with a higher solar voltage, xt connections, higher ac input without barrel connector (standard heavy duty plug input instead) and ac charge of at least 600w or more as opposed to 200. pretty serious drawback IMO. this is more akin to an overgrown 500w inverter with larger capacity. very close to the price on the exodus 1500 which for these reasons makes a bit more sense to me.

That's odd at 20%.
Did you email them ?
I would return it if that was the norm.

It is the norm, say so in the manual.

I e-mailed them because I was going to return it, but they charge shipping and a restocking fee.

This is what I sent:

I recently purchased a Mega 1 unit on January 22 2026. I received the unit, and in testing it out, found that at 20%, the unit cuts output to 400 watts. I thought the device was malfunctioning, till I found out in the owners manual that this is apparently a feature, not a defect. This is unacceptable for my use case, as I use at least 500 watts when using it, which makes this useless for 1/5 of its capacity. Nowhere does it say online that is readily available that it does this. I would like to return this because of this design flaw, but it seems you would charge both a shipping fee and a restocking fee. This seems excessive for a product that does not work as expected as well as all other power stations, including the Exodus 1500 which I have purchased from you as well. Is there any way the fees can be waived? I actually want to purchase the Oupes 1800, which is the same $299 sale price as the Mega 1, and wonder if I could just do an exchange for that one instead.

And this was their reply:

Thank you for reaching out.

Indeed, this is a characteristic of the battery, not a defect.

This design is intended to prevent the battery from entering a low-voltage mode, which helps extend its lifespan.

We apologize that this doesn't meet your needs.

Currently, OUPES charges a shipping fee for returns that are not due to quality issues, approximately $20-$30.

Perhaps you could keep the power station? We offer a 5-year warranty, and you can contact us for any after-sales issues.

If you decide to keep it, we would like to offer you a flashlight as a gift.

What do you think?

Warm regards,
Lily

And my reply to that:

No need for trinkets to try to appease your failure.
I am not happy with the return policy and fees, and that will keep me from buying any more Oupes products, and I won't recommend them to others anymore either.
Was excited to find an inexpensive alternative, but customer service is a part of the product, and that has failed miserably.
Which is sad because I like my Exodus 1500 and was going to buy an Oupes 1800 to replace the Mega 1, but not now.
EcoFlow has been my go to brand, and seems will stay that way, even if it does cost more.

So I am going back to any post where I was recommending Oupes for a cheap basic unit and delecting it.

don't like the design with the fixed handle on top. it makes it so you can't stack stuff on top of it. when packing for camping or storage, this limits where it can be placed.

I also realized the charging on this one is limited to the small barrel plug on the front. Unit comes with one 200w charger. You can buy a 2nd one and charge at 400w total.
Not sure if it does pass through power, and even with 2 chargers, only 400w would pass through. If you are using something using 1000w, you will run out of power even if plugged in.

Why is a company that makes batteries capable of powering small home appliances called "OOPS!" ?

That's definately a defect.
I usually stop dealing with them and tell them I'm putting in a charge back with my CC and that usually get their attention.
I get great results dealing with the CC vs the company themselves.
Show them proof of emails and such and they always side with me.

They e-mailed me back today, and by escalating it to upper management, they are giving me a full refund and will pay for the shipping back.
So I am happy I am able to return it.
Sad thing is, I am happy with the Exodus 1500, it works as it should and think it is a good value. It can do full power output from 100% to 0% (I used a space heater drawing 1480 watts to do my initial discharge, same one I used on the Mega 1) and it did as expected, went to 0% while using 1480 watts the whole time. I would like another, but after the issues with the Mega 1, not interested.

For now, I have given my daughter the Exodus 1500.
I am going to be giving my son something when he moves out in a few months, still trying to decide what.
I am debating between giving him my Delta 2 that I don't really use or getting another Exodus 1500 for him, it is still on sale for $319. I may grab it, even though Oupes irked me with the Mega 1.
