Thanks for the information. Do the price comparisons include paying for instacart plus? FYI, from what I read, NY now has to pay the drivers a minimum wage of $21.44 and hour and are adding a $5.99 "regulatory fee" for every delivery. Don't see the $5.99 fee on Costco sameday so that should be taken into account. Also, with change in the pay structure, they are no longer suggesting a big tip when you check out on sameday and possibly instacart directly. Seems fair to tip less if the company is paying drivers more.

You are right. I was testing a small order to see if the gift card option was still there and saw the 6%. The cutoff seems to be $200 after discounts to bring the minimum back to 5%.

Thank you for the answer. I usually wait till sameday has a coupon and don't buy enough to get IC+ though would take the $19.99 a year deal just for peacock if I could get it. Good to know that it looks like we can add the IC gift cards again.

I have instacart+ but sameday is always slightly more expensive for me compared to instacart, and I've checked occasionally throughout the years. 3x pack of Scotch-Brite sponges, for instance, is 30 cents cheaper out the door on instacart than same day. I'm on Long Island if it matters, but was always curious why people said same day is cheaper. Never has been for me.
