I purchased this model directly from Samsung in January 2025. I have had zero issues so far.

I have this (along with the Alienware 3423DW) and it's amazing. If this is the version without the smart features, even better!

I read the glare is bad if in a well lighted room. Can you confirm this?

i have two stacked.... i have them every so lightly turned to the side one direction... enough, that you wouldn't notice unless i pointed it out.... however, the top one, i cant fully get rid of the glare unless i tilt it down about 1cm... if i am going to place a movie or something on the top one while I work, i have to dim/turn off the lights if I dont want it tilted.. with that said, i have one of those outdoor $50 bulbs that are super bright..

The room I have it in has 9 recessed lights in the ceiling that are fairly bright. I do not have any glare issues, but I suppose that can be somewhat subjective when it comes to whether it bothers you or not.

Samsung EDU/GOV also has it for the same price. When I added it to my cart, there was an additional discount applied which brought the price down to $682.99 before tax.

Thanks OP, this is perfect!

I got this when it was $500 about a year ago. I used to warn people that it wasn't great for some games (for me, Starcraft 2) due to stretching while full screen (windowed worked but had its own issues). However I found a fix online that allows you to do full screen without stretching:
Right click on desktop -> Nvidia control panel -> Display -> Adjust desktop size and position -> Scaling -> Perform scaling on GPU. Also check the box to override scaling mode set by games/apps.
