Buyer beware that Roku TVs force ads every moment they get. An ad-free experience is not possible with this TV, even using external devices. Check out the TCL QM5K at Best Buy for a cheaper, newer, better mini LED TV.

Are you not able to just plug in a Google TV or Fire Stick to avoid the bullt-in system?

No, this TV makes you watch ads just to turn it on.

Hmm that's a huge turn off! Do you know if that's the case with all Roku TV's or just certain models?

I think in comparison, the current $329 QM5K is also a good choice. It has 240 enhanced motion rate and full array local dimming. I can't seem to find the variable refresh rate numbers for gaming / sports on the Roku's website or Google, but both do have a 60 Hz panel. I think both are good TV's, depending on needs.

Isn't roku being sued for tv parts breaking prematurely?
