Not sure how you're getting to $3.04. The pre-coupon price is $11.48. Even with max SS and the 25% coupon it comes to $6.89 pretax. Are you sure you didn't have a credit/gift card etc that was making it seem like less?

It was $8.xx before anything. Which, I agree, would still only bring it down to around $5 after the 30% (it's 5% plus an extra 25% with the coupon). I still have my digital credits, didn't have any gift cards, and I don't use any Amazon points. The invoice shows a $5 "promo credit" but I don't know what that's for. I just placed an order earlier today so it's not something that's been on my account.
