Why have a unit that can put out 2000 watts when it cuts output over 3/4 when you hit 1/5 capacity.
I bought it to use it, let me use it.
I am never buying Oupes again, which is sad because for a basic battery unit, they have some good prices, but with this design issue with the Mega 1 and them wanting to charge me almost $50 to return a $300 item, no way. I have an Oupes Exodus 1500 and wanted to buy the Oupes 1800 (asked to be able to exchange the Mega 1 for a 1800, both are same sale price), but after my experience with customer service, no more Oupes for me, and will share my poor experience with others.

The app sucks, very basic, no real controls like the Anker, Bluetti, and Ecoflow apps. I can see the state of charge, set it to fast or slow charge (but has to be unplugged and nothing being powered, and is only fast (1400 w) or slow (700 w). No way to change charge levels (I do 100/0 anyway, so not a huge deal for me), no options for solar only charging, TOU settings.
Like I said, I think limiting the Mega 1 that is capable of doing 2000w to just 400w at 20% battery, with no mention of it in the manual or product information, and no way to even change it, is a defect. They just contacted me again this evening with a response that they will escalate it with management to see if I can get free return shipping and no restock fee.

Gonna buy an 11,000 watt inverter generator and convert from transfer switch to main panel interlock.
