Wonder if there is a way to turn off the lights. Think the multi colored lights could be annoying, even if the ssd is turned with lights down ?

probably not gonna have fancy software support for this price. can always just clip off the wire leading to the led if you don't care about the light at all.

Enclosure Lights are not a real problem for me; I use them as backup drives flipping between two M.2 drives every 2-3months

I would assume the LED is surface mounted to circuitry, rather than attached via wire.

Just cut the trace leading to it then. Ppl had to do similar thing to the Asus strix enclosure this thing clones in order to disable the lcd there too.
