This bundle stands out for Doom Eternal, Prey, and Black Mesa, with Prey and Doom Eternal described as worth the price on their own and Black Mesa called an all time great. Mooncrash is a welcome bonus, and Prey gets extra praise for strong replay value and smooth Steam Deck performance. The main knocks are Doom Eternal's ammo and weapon flow, plus its platforming and closed arenas, which some find less satisfying than Doom 2016. A few keys also expire in about six months, so timing matters.
Prey and Doom Eternal together can justify the $20 bundle price for replay-focused players.
Mooncrash is included as an extra bonus content addition to the bundle.
Black Mesa is highlighted as an all-time great shooter that adds strong value to the lineup.
Prey can run perfectly on Steam Deck while still delivering a challenging upgrade-driven experience.
Doom Eternal's ammo system can punish players who do not use finishing moves to replenish ammo.
Prey's console ports reportedly feel super choppy compared with the PC version.
Doom Eternal can feel less enjoyable for some players due to platforming, closed arenas, and forced weapon switching.
Some keys in the bundle reportedly expire in about six months, which can reduce long-term flexibility.

Doom Eternal? No. It's pretty annoying. 2016 was fun enough, but they doubled down on it for eternal. They make it painfully platforming, and these dumb closed arenas with no level complexity at all. And forced weapon switching to defeat some enemies took all the doom soul out of it.
