Thanks! Picked up a pair, since the spot blower the wife uses around the house goes through these, and I need them for my impact, ratchet and installation tool, this will give me some spares to always have ready to go. Would love to get that new M12 Rover Flood on sale sometime...

Thoughts on this as an entry in the M12 system? I've got big 6aH M18s, been wanting some M12's to open up the smaller tools and those not available in M18.

Good for professional users. For home users 2.0 is good enough.
If using the tire inflater it runs a lot better, and faster, on a 5.0 vs 2.0 battery. The 2.0 works but it slows down pretty quickly.

I've just started to look into Team Red and have my sights on the M12 impact. TTC pointed out these were the batteries that make all the beans. Would it be smart to jump on this and hope for a deal on the tool only down the line or hold out for a potential bundle later? Any insight is appreciated!

It depends on the tool, I have the light tower and it burns thru the batteries pretty quickly. A 2.0 would be frustrating

This is pretty much the top dog of the M12 line. Depending on the tools you use you might want to look into some compact 2.0's

The 5.0 is the best battery in the M12 lineup. If you want a compact battery, then get the 2.5. The others have lower performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q...Q47k&t=19s

This is what makes the 2nd gen stubby impact wrench sing. I hardly go for my M18 mid torque anymore.

My store still has 16 of the M12 XC6.0 2 pack on clearance at $97.05. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../335291555. The 5.0 are higher output, 6.0 longer run-time.
