Serious honest question: I'm playing Persona 5 Royal and so far I'm having fun (70 hrs in). I like the characters a lot, I like the ideas in the story, and I appreciate the sprawling dungeons. I'm less excited about a lot of the tedium (doing laundry, watching DVDs, developing relationships/stats, etc). Plus 75 hrs is a long time (for me). Generally I kind of prefer more straightforward, linear, narrative based games (Final Fantasy, E33, etc). Do you think I would like Metaphor more than P5?

I loved Persona 5 and definitely enjoyed Metaphor. It's much much easier to max out social for the perks. You get plenty of time and reminders of what you should be doing for the storyline
