How many of you bought something similar before, got lazy a few times by not returning the pieces back to the set, eventually it's too much work to find all the pieces, and now tempted by a cheap purchase to start over again?

Products like this sound good on paper but if you're just needing to do some quick work you'll grab it out of a drawer and it's not charged. I suppose it would still work even without power, so maybe not a complete waste.

My problem is I forget where I last used it, so I have to buy another one, to eventually also be misplaced, usually somewhere in the house.

Not likely. The motor is not high torque. You sometimes have to manually loosen the screw, then use the motor to remove it or reinstall it. Great if you have to do a lot, and have arthritis or similar, to save on all that extra twisting.

A lot depends on whether this screwdriver has circuits running even when not pressing the drive buttons. If nothing's running in the background, the charge should hold for years in the drawer. I don't know how this particular one works, not a good sign that it doesn't have a separate on/off button, will find out, for the money I'm going to pick one up.

Edit: I just placed the order, coupon code still works, delivery tomorrow. Now I only wish I hadn't bought a manual set just a few months ago that I still haven't used LOL. But I'm taking apart a laptop soon so I'll have a chance to use this one. I wish these were available and at such a low price when I was still a tech.
