Hesitant to order plants from W. The ones in-store are usually terrible (under watered, over watered, scorched, ants, gnats, battered, etc)

I've jumped on a few of these deals from both Amazon and Walmart and while the price is incredible the plants literally seem to die right after the return period is over with. An Amazon seller actually sent us a new batch and they died as well so we were SOL and spent $$$ for nothing. I'm not sure the plants handle the shock from shipping very well so I'd consider the deal YMMV. FWIW Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. include a 1 year guarantee on plants and they can be returned for store credit if they die after the return period.

Agreed, but not everyone wants/needs 20 plants. Here's 5 succulents from Amazon for $7.59. No idea how they're packaged/shipped, but user reviews seem to suggest they arrive in good condition as long as temps aren't too cold. For that reason I will not be buying online this time of year here in the frigid northeast (ambient temp this morning: 8 deg F). Cold

Yes, they grow big. Bought 20 from Amazon on sale. 17 survived. I potted them into 6 inch ones and added fertilizer. After a few months under grow light, some got big. Some of them got so tall and fell over. Some are still low and look nice.

I work part time for a farm. Every year they ask me what is wrong with the potted plants they sell. I tell them they are over watered and never fertilized. They don't listen. I get free plants. I also worked at Lowe's and it was similar,but oddly better.
These aren't coming from a Walmart store, they are coming from a greenhouse directly. I've never bought any this small but bought many trees and shrubs from them. All. Are still alive as far as I know.
