Vipoutlet is the worst seller I've dealt with on eBay in 25 years of being on eBay. I purchased an open box TV from them 3 weeks ago, it arrived with the complete bottom frame of the TV plastic cracked and the entire screen cracked. Meanwhile the styrofoam inside the box was perfectly intact. This means that they never inspected the TV whenever they received it as an open box, maybe just Open the box and looked at the top and then sealed it back up. Was a huge pain dealing with the return and the refund. No possible way the TV could have been in this condition without destroying the box and especially the styrofoam inside. Awful seller

I keep posting about it, but eBay refurbs and open box are a complete scam. SD needs to stop allowing these non-OEM listings.

lol he never said that was his "take". He just posted his own experience with these deals which has been positive for him. I personally avoid these eBay open box deals but appreciate people posting their experiences both positive and negative.

The issue with vipoutlet is quality control. They sell used items as open box. Return process is slow and if it's a large item, you are expected to take to FedEx and if it's not properly packed up for return, FedEx will not ship back. I think it's better to pay a little more and get from Costco; Best Buy or Amazon. Avoid possible return issues
