Does anybody have experience with these? I'm looking a hybrid smart watch, but there's not many good comparisons that I've found.

Not about this watch in particular, but I've had Garmin watches in the past and really like them.

I got one directly from Focus Camera a bit cheaper than this, and it's ok. The blue is brighter in person but I changed out the band for a bit less "electric blue" feel. My work just restricted smart watches so wanted something to stay connected somewhat but looked less like a screen on my wrist. Fitting the bill so far.

Don't have this specific model, but I have one of the older versions of the Vivomove Style, which is also a hybrid Garmin watch. I also have a Forerunner and a Fenix. despite having the least features, I get the most compliments on the Vivomove, even after 4 years. People geek out on seeing a seemingly "dumb watch" that can still do contactless pay and show text messages. Only thing I'd mention is occasionally I have to recalibrate the hands, usually if i let the watch completely die. Difference to the watch posted is it has actual GPS tracking vs the vivomove which can only do it through your phone. In terms of features, the Instinct Crossover seems pretty great value if you like the form factor, lower tech screens in the background, physical buttons vs touch screen, but 28 days of standby battery is amazing.
Garmin watches are generally great for their gps tracking for fitness and much longer battery life than other smart watches(weeks vs hours). You lose a little in "smart" features, but I typically only really use these for activity tracking (running/rec sports) and text/call notifications. I can do a cursory check for texts and phone calls as they come in without looking like I'm checking my phone, especially nice for meetings. One caveat is notifications are more robust on Android than iOS. I've notices a significant difference in notification filtering after switching to iPhone. It'll never match features with a galaxy watch or apple watch, but its mostly unrivaled in battery life, and i can live without whatever i'm missing on those platforms

Wife bought me this exact one for Christmas and I love it. Been through a couple of different Smartwatches and got tired of having to constantly remove and charge them. I am messing with it daily and love being able to wear this one and it still utilize the smart features (texts, emails, notifications, etc) while not requiring too much attention. I've played around with mapped trails on it as well, which seems to work fine though I don't have experience doing that with other watches. Looking forward to using that on a hike later this year. Overall I recommend it and only way I would part with it is for the more expensive AMOLED model at this point.
