Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PlayStation 5 comes across as a story driven adventure that leans hard into movie style atmosphere, exploration, and nostalgia for the films. The graphics are praised, the torch and whip traversal sounds fun, and the difficulty options and accessibility settings make it approachable for casual players. The main knocks are clunky controls, occasional confusion about what to do next, and repetition if you push for 100 percent completion. It is a solid fit if you want an Indiana Jones experience more than a fast paced shooter.
Common Questions (4)
Yes, it's on disc, but only about 20GB is on the disc and the rest must be downloaded. That means you still need a substantial internet download before playing.
It plays more like an interactive movie with strong story and atmosphere than a fast-paced shooter. The controls can feel clunky and some sections may require walkthroughs, but the exploration, torch-and-whip gameplay, and nostalgia are a big part of the appeal.
Best Buy price matched Walmart's $40 price. Walmart's site may show nearby pickup as unavailable even when the listing appears to offer it.
It has several difficulty modes and accessibility settings, and it's manageable on medium for casual players. The final boss may still prompt you to lower the difficulty if you want to finish comfortably.

I personally enjoyed this one, they nailed the feel of the movies, especially with Indy's quips. It wasn't a perfect game, but solid and worth it at this price.
