Status symbol branded cookware? Slow down, these aren't Mauviel. Nice deal on what looks like a mid tier offering. Great set to transition off traditional non stick.

Some will see a coupon that knocks the price down to $48, which is more in line with the quality of these judging from some of the reviews.

Am I just a cheapass or is sur la table not an upscale brand?

I've never had good luck with ceramic cookware. They always lose their nonstick properties after a few months.
