This Sur La Table 10 piece nonstick cookware set is positioned as a budget friendly short term option for everyday home cooking. The ceramic nonstick interior is praised for easy cleanup and good heat distribution, and it is said to work best with seasoning before first use and medium heat or below. The main cautions are durability and value at full price, since the set is not viewed as premium or long lasting, and induction compatibility is questioned. Coupon availability also appears inconsistent, with some seeing a lower price and others unable to apply it.

Common Questions (4)

  • The 25% off coupon is not available for everyone, and some shoppers could not add it. When it does apply, the set has been seen around $49.27 for the blue version and about $51 after coupon.

  • It is better suited as a short-term, budget option than a premium set like All-Clad. At this price, it can be a decent value for regular home use, but the coating may last about a year with medium-or-lower heat and then need replacing.

  • Season the pan before first use and keep the heat at medium or below. High heat can shorten the life of ceramic nonstick, and the coating should be replaced if it starts peeling.

  • It is advertised as induction compatible, but the pans are not hard anodized and may leave marks on a stovetop. That makes it a questionable choice if induction performance or cooktop protection is a priority.

These regional Amazon coupons are frustrating, did they just overstock one warehouse/DC and need to move pallets of goods in Ohio but not Oregon? Shut up and take my money, Amazon!

The 25% off was not available for me. Amazon wouldn't let me add it.

I have found the key to keeping ceramic non-stick is: 1) season the pan before first use 2) don't go above medium heat.

I haven't tried them but the 4.2 stars and the "Essentials" naming would suggest they are not great quality. Read some of the 10% of 1 star reviews to get a flavor of the issues.

When it comes to cookware it's better to buy quality individual pieces over time than buy a crappy set that take up space and need replaced in short order.

At this price they can be practically disposable and still a good value depending how how you're planning to use them...

I agree with anything non-stick. It's not a long-term purchase as long as you take care of it and don't use high heat. Use them as long as they last and if the coating starts to peel off, get rid of them and find another one

Was $51.xx after coupon for me. These are the types of pans that if you use them on medium heat or below, they should last a year. They aren't All-Clad quality, but for the price they are a decent short-term option!
