Saw it in the theatre. As a SciFi fan I thought it was worth seeing as a "turn your brain off and enjoy the ride" type of title.

I agree. Saw it in the theaters. I walked in thinking it was going to be terrible. It was much better than that. A departure from the past canon for sure but it opens up the predator world to make new in roads.

This movie is really good, which shouldn't be that surprising given the quality of Prey and Killer of Killers. If you haven't seen either of the others, get your Trachtenberg Trifecta going already.

Yep. Good, fun movie.
It absolutely didn't feel "predator" to me, but if I ignored that it was good from beginning to end.
