i love a deal but i have a hard time finding a use case for this bar. it's extremely calorie dense and it digest fast so it's not going to keep you full. when are you ever going to eat this? if you eat it as a snack in between meals it'll make you fat. if you replace a meal with it you'll be starving. if you eat it for protein it has 2x calories compared to other sources. it doesnt even taste good, just acceptable. if i wanted a high calorie useless bar, i'd pick one that tastes good like nutrigrain. i mean i'm going on a huge international flight soon and i can use this for it in case i'm starving but that's it but i only need 3-4 bars, not 12.

I find them great for backpacking when I'm burning 4K-5K calories per day. I ate 16 of them in a single long day a couple of years ago. This is my second favorite after the peanut butter chocolate chip. Otherwise, I treat them as candy, just as they taste.

they're good if you exercise and need a quick energy boost from the carbs

i can see this if you're someone who does endurance sports. beyond that, the average lifters arent burning enough carbs to be eating this. i'm keep my macros tight and now that i got used to it, eating extra calories feel painful because i know i just wasted an entire day's exercise to burn this bar. the difference between ripped and soft is only like 300 calories a day.
