Their coffee has become absolutely undrinkable. I don't remember the last time I've been to a Panera but this deal won't bring me back.

Wow. 4 thread craps in a row here. If you guys don't like Panera or pick and chose where you eat based on the quality of their coffee then just move on.
For most slick dealers, this is a good deal. They frequently run promotions and Panera lets you stack them. Panera at full retail is pricey but I only go when I have a good combinations of deals. I can usually get a lot of food for two people including drinks and bakery items for around $20 before the discounted gift cards I pay with.

I agree, I don't typically purchase from Panera unless there is a promotion and I have a discounted gift card on hand. I'm a big fan of their food.

Sam's charged me sales tax on the gift cards I got. That seems illegal since you're paying sales tax when you buy the items.

The quality of their drinks went down too. It used to be so much better and stronger tasting, like the Hibiscus tea and Papaya green tea. Now they watered it down so much.

I was too for the longest time. Took my kids there almost weekly for breakfast until they cut most of their offerings (rip pumpkin muffins).

I even joined their sip club which I enjoyed. Ate their turkey sandwich which was good but expensive and went down in quality each time I ordered it. Haven't been back in a year.

Seeing them closed down all of their fresh bread factories turns it from a fresh bakery into a second rate place in my mind.

Probably cheaper than Mcd junks and trashy foods. Even at regular price, way better food than other fast food chains!
