These are trash. The attachments don't stick and easily fall off and it's hard to actually use. Get snap ring pliers that don't have detachable tips

if the jaws fall off it's probably because the spring retainer wasn't engaged. Let's just put that down to human error.

IMHO anyone that is pulling just one snap-ring off their lawn mower will be happy to have this tool for $5.

Although I would personally prefer to pay ~$10 more for the Irwin pliers or even for a dedicated 4-plier setup --- this is perfect for those who find they need to pull a snap ring once in a great while without having to worry about busting a knuckle trying to jimmy one out without a proper tool.

The Channellock ones are pretty good. I also have the Harbor Freight Pittsburg ones that they knocked-off, and they're descent in a pinch.
