This onn 10.1 inch tablet is best understood as a budget media and dashboard device, especially for YouTube, streaming, comic books, and simple wall mounted displays. It feels solid, can arrive in new condition, has no lock screen ads, and includes a microSD slot plus Android 14 or 15 on some units. Battery life looks decent for standby, and the screen is usable for basic video viewing, though it is only 720p and fairly dim at mid brightness. The main tradeoff is performance, since 3GB of RAM and the slower processor can feel limiting for multitasking, games, or heavier dashboards. A practical pick if expectations stay modest.

Common Questions (5)

  • For basic tasks like browsing, notes, comic books, and light streaming, 3GB RAM can be enough. It is not a good choice for heavy multitasking or demanding apps, and several comments recommend 6GB or more for a smoother experience.

  • It can work for a Home Assistant dashboard or a simple security display, but 3GB RAM and the slower CPU make it a poor fit for heavier dashboards. It is better suited to showing video feeds or a lighter wall-mounted monitor than a busy, multitasking dashboard.

  • Yes, it should handle YouTube, Netflix, and similar streaming apps, though app launches can be slow. It is also fine for simple web use, YouTube Music, and other non-game apps.

  • It reportedly can be rooted if you want. USB-C to HDMI output was asked about, but no confirmed working report was provided in the comments.

  • No lock screen ads were reported. That makes it a cleaner option than some budget tablets that show promotional ads.

3GB RAM should give anyone who's looking for a Home Assistant dashboard pause. Should also give anyone who wants a usable device pause.
3gb is fine for everyday stuff as well as YouTube and reading comic books

How does this compare to some of the Fire 10 tablet deals? Is the display really just 1280x800, not 1080? (recalling when SVGA was an premium things we have come a long way)

no, most likely not. I bought mine to have an extra account on the Pokemon card game and it crashed often.
Oh I okay Pokemon Pocket tcg, I got a few of the full arts. Everybody messaged as soon as I said I got full art diantha though on a forum because they wanted it lol. Decent game but needs different modes and challenges.

I lean bad for that application, but if by security dashboard you mean just showing video feeds, it might work well. It's 720p so limited on how much you can show on screen at once, however.
Video feeds take more resources than dashboards???

Depends what's doing the heavy lifting for the feed, but that's a good point.

I mean, you can definitely throw it. But I imagine it wouldn't make a particularly good substitute for a frisbee, largely due to its shape.

However: it would probably function pretty well as a charcuterie board. Perhaps even a doorstop. Or turn it over and use the back side as a mouse pad. It's a pretty versatile device, overall.

Hope this helps

That's going to be based on the Android version.

Sure why not but usually round shaped objects are easier to throw.

The CHEAPEST tablet that can do this is the Alldocube Iplay 60 Turbo.

That is hard to believe....

So you RECENTLY purchased a device that is running Android 8 or lower????!!!! It just does not make any sense.

Minimum Requirements: Android 9.0 (Pie) or higher.
Checkout/Business App: Android 12 or higher.
Installation Issues: If the app does not install, clearing the Google Play Store cache may resolve the issue.
