This is a very cheap 720p class mini projector that works best for dark, casual use like kids movies, Halloween window effects, or short one off projection jobs. It can handle Roku and ONN sticks, has manual focus and keystone correction, and the free gift option can include a screen, tripod, or Bluetooth speaker. Brightness is the main limit, with the image holding up at night but washing out in daylight, and the built in speakers are weak. The 1080p claim refers to input support, not native output, so it is a basic budget pick for low light setups.

  • The projector can work acceptably for outdoor movies with kids after sunset.

  • The projector can support keystone correction and manual focusing for better screen alignment.

  • The included gift redemption process can be straightforward through Amazon fulfillment.

  • The projector can be useful for short mural-style projection jobs when brightness is less critical.

  • The projector downscales 1080p input content to 720p output.

  • The projector brightness can wash out quickly in real light, even in a curtained room.

  • The built-in speakers can be poor, requiring a Bluetooth soundbar for better audio.

  • The image quality can be closer to 480p than advertised, with marketing claims overstating clarity.

I've been looking to get a projector like this just to watch the news or something during the day. 720ps not bad but brightness is the bigger deal at these prices. Still a good deal for what it is. Focus clarity would be right up there as well for importance.

Curious how well this plays with a Roku stick...
It should be beaten with a Roku stick if you care about quality.🤣

All these cheap projectors are exactly that. Fine for a kids room as a toy if it's dark but in any type of real light it's worthless. This one is 200 lumens which is about the same as a old school 20w light bulb. Most of the $50 - $100 are 400 - 600 lumens, like a old school 40w bulb. In a very dark room it might be fine but with any other light sources it will get washed out quickly.

What does 1080p (720p native) even mean? 🤔
The "native resolution" is the highest resolution that it can display. The 1080p means that you can feed it a higher (finer) resolution signal and it will downsize / downscale it to fit the lower resolution of the display. So basically you lose picture quality if you try to project a high resolution video or picture. You should always look for the native resolution, because that's the best you will see. I ignore the stated resolution and look for the native resolution when I'm shopping displays and projectors.

Where is the free gift tab? Can't seem to find it
It basically says to send an email to: [email protected]

Include your Amazon order #, your shipping address, and the gift you wanted (I went for the tripod, since it already included a screen). They sent mine within a few days (amazon fulfilled)

That's how my sister does oil paintings. But for $50 or $60 you can get one that doesn't have to be lined up perfectly straight and will automatically reshape the image to look flat and undistorted by the angle.
That "Linning up and reshaping" of the projected screen (The deviation from square, due to the upward tilt of the projector) is called:
Keystone correction
And good news, this one has it. Only it is not automatically done.
The smaller ring, behind the larger focusing ring (On top of the unit), is how you make reshaping of the screen and correct the shape back to square.
Focusing is also manual here with the other ring, both operatable easily from the roof or upper aspect of the projector.

These are junk, but if you need something to show the kids a movie outside on a sheet or on the garage door during Halloween (if this lasts that long) it's fine for 25.
This might be junk... now, but 10 years ago, this would have been a decent projector.
This would be perfect for screencasting a book on the ceiling

Anyone know if this would be usable as a mural projector to paint something on a wall or large canvas?
If you can get the room dark enough, it would work. It's not very bright, but I found inside my house at night with just lamps on it worked ok

I brought this exact one back in September for outside movies with the kiddos. We used it a few times before winter and it's been working great for that use. After the sun sets it feels nice and bright and I was honestly pretty surprised by the picture. The built in speakers are garbage obviously, so I've just been using an old Bluetooth soundbar.
