These are junk, but if you need something to show the kids a movie outside on a sheet or on the garage door during Halloween (if this lasts that long) it's fine for 25.

For $25 it's a cool "check it out just because" projector.
Also fwiw both Roku and ONN sticks were plug and play.
If you do get this be sure to look up the "free gift" tab in its settings. I had the choice between a 100" screen, tripod, or BT speaker.

I've been looking to get a projector like this just to watch the news or something during the day. 720ps not bad but brightness is the bigger deal at these prices. Still a good deal for what it is. Focus clarity would be right up there as well for importance.

All these cheap projectors are exactly that. Fine for a kids room as a toy if it's dark but in any type of real light it's worthless. This one is 200 lumens which is about the same as a old school 20w light bulb. Most of the $50 - $100 are 400 - 600 lumens, like a old school 40w bulb. In a very dark room it might be fine but with any other light sources it will get washed out quickly.

The "native resolution" is the highest resolution that it can display. The 1080p means that you can feed it a higher (finer) resolution signal and it will downsize / downscale it to fit the lower resolution of the display. So basically you lose picture quality if you try to project a high resolution video or picture. You should always look for the native resolution, because that's the best you will see. I ignore the stated resolution and look for the native resolution when I'm shopping displays and projectors.

That "Linning up and reshaping" of the projected screen (The deviation from square, due to the upward tilt of the projector) is called:
Keystone correction
And good news, this one has it. Only it is not automatically done.
The smaller ring, behind the larger focusing ring (On top of the unit), is how you make reshaping of the screen and correct the shape back to square.
Focusing is also manual here with the other ring, both operatable easily from the roof or upper aspect of the projector.

This might be junk... now, but 10 years ago, this would have been a decent projector.

If you can get the room dark enough, it would work. It's not very bright, but I found inside my house at night with just lamps on it worked ok

I brought this exact one back in September for outside movies with the kiddos. We used it a few times before winter and it's been working great for that use. After the sun sets it feels nice and bright and I was honestly pretty surprised by the picture. The built in speakers are garbage obviously, so I've just been using an old Bluetooth soundbar.
