I think the price is not bad, but at the same time I wouldn't buy it.
I was a huge Razer nerd; from keyboards I've owned, I even bought Lian-li case with Razer logo. However, most of them broke within the 3-4 months of usage. The items survived the longest were surprisingly, wired Mamba, Kraken headset, and the laptop which I barely use. I've owned pretty much all of their keyboard lineups from Blackwidow, Huntsman, and all of them literally died on me. Wireless being worst.

I'm my opinion, this is a deal. This is an analog keyboard, so it's not for everyone. It is particularly useful for racing games. Comparable boards are much more expensive and sometimes hard to find in stock. At $70, this is probably the cheapest analog keyboard available right now.

Every razer keyboard i've owned has died within six months - small sample size but makes it really tough to consider a big discount "worth it". My corsair and logitech keyboards usually last at least 3-5 years, but trhe last corsair mechanical keyboard i got lasted 12 of daily multiple hour use.

the last Razor keyboard i had broke in the first 4 months, the quality while it was working was fine... Nothing special. I bought a red dragon next for less than half the price, the keys aren't quite as nice, but close enough not to complain about. I've been using this one for about 2 years now.

Going on 1yr+ no issues with my Huntsman V2 KB. I paid around $90 for mine. I also have a Basilisk pro mouse thats 3+ years now. Aside from the crummy design pogo pin wireless mouse charging stand, both have worked great for me.

I rather like both devices. I suspect most people don't have any issues, but like anything, you'll hear 10X the negative feedback since most won't bother posting anything when there isn't an issue.
I'd actually buy another one of these, but I just don't need another.

Razer makes decent keyboards, but this has a permanently attached cable and no hot-swap for $70. It's analog though which usually sell for a premium. (edit: they use infrared instead of the usual hall effect or TMR switches). Personally the keyboard market is too competitive now to buy a board without hot-swap unless you're buying something cheap, but overall this seems like a pretty good deal if you want a full size analog keyboard.

This isn't just a Razer keyboard it was their premium flagship when it came out, not just a low tier item in their catalog.

No, the average person doesn't need hot swap but it's a great feature to have. I have at least one friend who was able to remedy a key issue by simply replacing the switch, another friend wanted a nicer switch set and replaced all of his for much cheaper than the cost of a new keyboard. Neither of them is into keyboards either, but it's very easy to do and beats having to RMA or buy a whole new keyboard.

The simple reason that brands like Razer don't add hot swap is to cut corners and so people are more likely to buy a new board if it fails out of warranty (not uncommon for Razer). If you don't care about hot swap that's up to you, but I wouldn't advocate for lacking a feature that boards at this price point should have in 2026.
