This LG G5 OLED bundle stands out for flagship picture quality, a free soundbar, and included professional install, with the stand and five year warranty adding value. The 77 inch price is viewed as close to the best it is likely to get, and cashback or card offers can stack on top. The main drawback is that promo codes have been inconsistent, and the price appears to rise after heavy traffic. It looks strongest for buyers who want the premium panel and bundled extras.
Common Questions (5)
The G5 is positioned as the flagship upgrade, with higher peak HDR brightness expected than the C-series and a better build plus warranty. For price, one shopper found the Samsung S95F around $2,670 plus tax on EPP, while another got $2,834.99, making the LG deal cheaper in that case.
No. The BIGGAME10 code does not apply to the 77-inch G5 bundle, and it also failed on the 65-inch model and the 65-inch cart. A separate random 3% coupon did work for at least one checkout.
Yes. A 2% cashback offer showed on the LG Partner Store, Capital One Shopping had a 5% offer that did not work in one checkout, Capital One credit had a separate "Spend $1,000, earn 10,000 miles" offer, and an Amex Cash rebate card had a 4% LG.com offer that also worked with the partner store.
The new bundle includes a 5-year warranty, free soundbar, and professional install, while refurbished units can be much cheaper but come with only a 2-year warranty. A BrandsmartUSA eBay refurb 77-inch G5 was cited at $2,349 before coupon and about $1,879 with a 20% coupon.
It is close to the best price point mentioned for this bundle, with one earlier October deal at $2,285.10 including an S95TR, XBOOM speaker, and stand. The current offer is still attractive because it includes the stand and a free soundbar, and the stand alone was valued at about $200.

*That* was an awesome deal. Only lasted a few days though and LG has probably fixed their website from that sorta thing happening again.

I was this close to grabbing a Best Buy open-box "Excellent" C5 today, but this G5 bundle pushed me over the edge. Free soundbar + professional install, plus flagship panel with a 5-year warranty, made it a no-brainer for me.
FYI for cashback hunters: urlhasbeenblocked is showing 2% back on the LG Partner Store (I was able to activate it). Better than nothing. I couldn't get my Capital One Shopping 5% offer to work due to SSO restrictions on my work laptop, but even without it I'm very happy with the value here.
Good luck to anyone else jumping on it — really appreciate the heads-up!
I found the 65" at Best Buy for $1936 (no free sound bar).
Anyone know if the 65" G5 gets any lower? I just started shopping so I don't have historical data.
