brad nails tend to not fully set. this helps you push them all the way in. i recommend this spring loaded one instead so you don't have to carry a hammer + nail set: https://a.co/d/0b2W9f8g if you do any finishing work, it's pretty handy. one of those things you don't need too often but when you do, you'll be happy you have one

I've had this set for about 10 years, works great. Got for free when my old neighbor accidently left them at my house. I make sure to send him a photo of his nail setters every time I use them. LMAO2
