I have one of these, earlier model, and it is good for what I do. The best feature of this printer is that you can buy ink from anywhere and add to it. Just make sure you print a full color page once a month or 2 if you don't print regularly. This action will stop the ink from drying in the tubes. The printer has a built in capability to melt that ink but that takes a lot of effort compared to just printing a full color page, from my experience. The only major issue I have is that the document feeder randomly stopped recognizing documents. So now I have to manually scan multiple documents or both sides of the same paper.

Print a full color test page every few weeks to keep the ink fresh on these ink tank printers.

Got one of these to replace my laser printer, and although it is slower, the ink price is negligible in comparison. Good prints too.

Did they fix the issue of the waste tank getting full and the printer being unusable at that point?
I have an ET-4750 and the waste/maintenance tank does get full and they expect you to replace it. My workaround is to open up the maintenance tank and replace the sponges - just search for "ET-#### waste ink pad sponge" on Amzn. The tanks are chipped, so you'll also need a chip resetter for that model. It costs a bit up front, but will save you more in the long run.

$219 pretty typical price for this over the past 90D, even from the Amazon site itself; 10% off not really a deal?

Maybe a bit off topic but hope this helps someone. I have an older / different EcoTank model (ET-2760). That was completely clogged (all 4 colors). Did the various programmed unclogging methods Head cleaning/Power clean etc. and wasted a lot of ink into the waste tank. Finally, I tried a manual cleaning with 50/50 mix of distilled water / 91% isopropyl alcohol with procedure similar to method shown here on Ifix-it https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+...ead/148478
Afterward did another nozzle head clean + 1 last power clean and it's good as new.
I will be printing a routine 1/month CYMK purge page. Got the idea from this website https://moonshinecrafts.com/help-...d-nozzles/
it saves ink compared to head cleaning/power clean mode. I made the colors smaller rather than doing a full page for each color (see screenshot). Unfortunately, I can't recall how I did that and can't post a PDF/Word file here. I think I used MS word and the hex codes shown with each color.

That's exactly what happened to mine right after warranty. Only printed maybe 40-50 pages during that time...
