Probably dropping them too many times. Yeti is more durable than a Hydro Flask but they are also a lot heavier/bulkier. Yeti is not ideal for daily use, IMO - they are more suited for camping/rugged use.

i've been using hydroflasks for like 15 years i still have all of mine. any that 've dropped to the point they don't sit flat i just get the rubber boot for the bottom, good as new

I've been using this for 2 years, the simple cap is the reason why I don't want anything else, it's easy to clean, easy to open and with a flexible strap. It serves its purpose without overcomplicating a premium water bottle.

I have been lucky enough not to have this happen to me, but thank you bc now I know what to watch for.
