100% 5-star reviews and they're all fake as hell.

I can read, and I have half a brain. Don't act naive, you've clearly been doing this long enough to spot the fake or incentivized reviews.
They all say the same vague garbage, making sure to mention the same key points that the marketing team wants. They repeat the same exact phrase "AI real-time translation" and talk about translating "164 languages", which no normal customer would actually say. All the pictures were taken fresh out of the box, very few of these people are actually using these earbuds. They've gotten this product for free and they're just reading the marketing material, there's almost no detail in any of the reviews.
The funny part is, you can ask Amazon's AI helper about whether or not these reviews look fake, and it will give you some hints in a relatively unbiased way. Here's what it said:
-
I can review the available customer feedback data for the AI Translation Earbuds, but I cannot definitively identify fake reviews based on Amazon's product information alone.
What I observe from the review patterns:

  • Uniformly positive sentiment: Reviews show 97-100% positive ratings across all aspects (translation accuracy, comfort, sound quality, functionality, etc.)
  • Consistent praise language: Multiple reviews use similar phrasing about "excellent translation accuracy" and "comfortable to wear"
  • Perfect scores: Zero negative mentions across most key aspects, which is unusual for any product
Red flags that might warrant further investigation:

  • No balanced feedback or common complaints typically found in genuine review sets
  • Lack of detailed, specific use cases or nuanced critiques
  • Overly promotional language in some review excerpts
However, I cannot access review verification data, reviewer profiles, or other indicators that would definitively prove reviews are fake. Amazon has systems in place to detect and remove suspicious reviews.

Maybe I am missing it, but I do not see a list of the 164 languages translated. Looking at the map with a few countries connected by dots, it looks like this will translate British English to American?
