Thanks for taking the time to review and talk about our product — we really appreciate you featuring pelsee in your video.
We want to be transparent: some of our current models use up scaling to achieve 4K output, which is common in the market today. That said, starting in 2026, pelsee will be gradually upgrading our product lineup to true native 4K dash cams, introducing higher-end image sensors and processors over time to deliver real 4K capture — not just resolution labels.
We appreciate honest discussions like this and will continue to improve our products based on real feedback and testing.

This Pelsee P1 Pro stands out as a budget front and rear dash cam with strong day and night front footage, readable plates, GPS tracking, lane departure alerts, and parking surveillance support. The included hardwire kit can make for a cleaner fuse box install, and the seller has replaced faulty units and sent out replacement rear cables quickly. The main concern is that the advertised 4K appears to be upscaled from IMX675 sensors rather than true native 4K, so storage use and image detail are worth weighing. A solid feature set if you are comfortable with the camera's resolution tradeoff.
Common Questions (3)
The code worked for some orders and took about $60 off, including multiple-unit purchases, but it also glitched or stopped working for others. If it fails, retrying may help, but it is not consistently active.
Some current Pelsee models use upscaling to produce 4K output rather than native 4K capture. The company says it plans to gradually move to true native 4K models starting in 2026, so this deal should be treated as scaled 4K rather than guaranteed native 4K.
The front camera is reported to produce readable license plates in both daytime and nighttime, with the night-vision processing helping visibility. That makes it more useful for hit-and-run evidence than a camera that only records general motion.

I did thst on BMW and Mazda and I'm sure other cars woth certain mirror functions especially newer cars with camera or powered mirror can have the tap.
As for front and rear, I hate the fact that you have to run front to rear. I prefer 2 separate cameras and independent recording, and not rely on on a "master" cam to do the recording at lower res.
Rear power connection is also pain in the neck to run cleanly to front, while you can try to get independent for rear and tap to rear electrics though trim.
