This Pelsee P1 Pro stands out as a budget front and rear dash cam with strong day and night front footage, readable plates, GPS tracking, lane departure alerts, and parking surveillance support. The included hardwire kit can make for a cleaner fuse box install, and the seller has replaced faulty units and sent out replacement rear cables quickly. The main concern is that the advertised 4K appears to be upscaled from IMX675 sensors rather than true native 4K, so storage use and image detail are worth weighing. A solid feature set if you are comfortable with the camera's resolution tradeoff.

  • The front 4K output can show readable license plates in both daytime and nighttime conditions.

  • The lane departure warning and GPS tracking can work with fairly accurate behavior.

  • Customer support can replace a faulty unit quickly and restore normal operation afterward.

  • A hardwire kit purchase can enable a practical front-and-rear setup for evidence-focused driving.

  • The OCFLZAUM coupon code can fail to apply and may require multiple attempts.

  • Some models can use upscaling to reach a 4K output rather than native 4K capture.

  • The rear cable can rip during installation, even when routing through factory wire loom.

  • Mirror-mounted rearview setups can lose usable footage if the mirror adjustment changes the front camera angle.

OCFLZAUM still seems to work to take off $60. Sometimes it can take a couple of tries.
I'll try it out, thank you.

Depending on your car, you might be able to get mirror tap, which is much more reliable and convenient and super clean.
I did thst on BMW and Mazda and I'm sure other cars woth certain mirror functions especially newer cars with camera or powered mirror can have the tap.

As for front and rear, I hate the fact that you have to run front to rear. I prefer 2 separate cameras and independent recording, and not rely on on a "master" cam to do the recording at lower res.

Rear power connection is also pain in the neck to run cleanly to front, while you can try to get independent for rear and tap to rear electrics though trim.
Rear view mirror adapters are great and a game changer for running power to these cameras. I put up with a long dangling cable for the longest time since it's better to have an ugly install then waiting to set up the camera in a nice and neat way. I've used my camera twice since installing a couple year ago (hit and run and an accident right in front of me).

I'll look into this brand when they make true 4k, preferably 60fps.

I need a dashcam that is powered by usb c only. Recommendations?
I noticed this dashcam has a USB A connection that goes into the car cigarette lighter connection. Can we just use a USB A to USB C adapter instead?

If I have a Viofo A119 Mini 2 with Starvis already, is this worth getting for the rear camera?
I usually record in 2K 60FPS and this looks like it maxes out at 25...

Picked up two of these with hardwire kit. Been wanting a decent front and rear camera. If the one works in my car, I'll put the other in my daughter's car. Young driver is always going to be at fault without evidence.

Is it normal for a dashcam to NOT come with an install kit (ie wiring)??

The problem with 4k 60fps you are asking for, the file size of videos would be huge, and you can't get that kind of clarity from a small camera lens to capture everything smoothly, but my hope is that every car comes with ability to record from rear and front cameras at least.
