3rd party docks aren't worth the risk of bricking your switch.

I've successfully used my USB-C multihub adapter many times while traveling. Something I already have on hand for my laptop, in a compact form and from a reputable manufacturer.

This is the specific one I use, because I got it on sale in 2023, but i'm sure many others from Anker or Baseus would also work without issue.

I know it's not $5, but some of you might be like me, and it turns out you don't need to buy yet one more thing.

I used to use this then found a sabrent identical version made of plastic for half the price
