Otherwise, you could install the software on a 2nd computer (or a Virtual Machine) and install the 2nd state on the 2nd computer.
You would save your Federal Return on the 1st computer to a thumbdrive, etc...and then load it on the 2nd computer (or Virtual Machine)...and then let it import everything in when you go to fill out the 2nd state.
H&R Block blocks you from installing a 2nd state program on the 1st computer - even if you uninstall the program and reload it, it still remembers that you had the program and you already loaded a state program. The only way around this, is the backup your registry prior to loading H&R Block the 1st time, later uninstall H&R Block, Restore the registry, and reload using the 2nd state. Personally, I just load up a Virtual Machine (VMWare for me) and install a 2nd version of H&R Block + the second state.
Lot's of Video's on YouTube explain how to create/load a Virtual Machine (free).

I wanted someone to show me why as I am not in a different tax bracket or anything else. I took it to an actual HandR block place. It was supposed to be free as a "second look" or whatever they call it but it ended up costing $400. That sucked but they fixed the return and I got 5 grand more than the software was going to give me. The lady working there told me I would have been better off doing it free online and then pay to file.
Bottom line is.. this is the last year I will be using H and R block. 25 bucks on crap software that ended up costing me even more.

When I'm confused about why I'm not getting similar numbers to last year, when I haven't changed anything significantly (and I'm not away of big tax changes), I compare them line by line and usually the difference stands out.
