Right, I bought it 2 years ago for less than this. I use it when I travel as a lot of hotel room thermostats are notoriously way off so I try and figure out by how much before I go to sleep so I don't wake up absolutely freezing or in a sweat!

It's kind of surprising how many times this particular thing has gotten me caught up at the airport so I now proactively take it out of my bag at the security checkpoint when I travel...!

Both versions are on sale. Make sure you get the Bluetooth version it is well worth it for connectivity and the data trend history.

I've found batteries last longer on ThermoPros than Govees, but that's not really a big deal.

I own two of these and they are still going strong despite some rough conditions. I don't know that this is any kind of special deal though given the fact that Amazon shows the last order for this model was Nov 9th, 2020 and it was $11.17 after tax.

I'm pretty confident these things go for this price pretty frequently

the bluetooth versions are sweet when paired with home assistant. i use one to turn a smart plug off and on thats connected to a space heater
