This certified refurbished Bissell Steam Shot is a compact handheld steamer best suited to small jobs like sink, bathroom, grout, and light car cleaning. The cord is described as long and sturdy, and several received units looked new and worked well. The small water tank means frequent reheating and refills, and the steam output may be brief if it is not fully warmed up. Recall concerns also come up around the attachments and safety, so the included parts and model details matter.
Common Questions (5)
It is suited to small jobs such as sink cleaning and bathroom touch-ups, including mildew smell on shower curtains. The small water tank means more frequent refills, so it is better for spot cleaning than long sessions.
Model 4155 is not on Bissell's Steam Shot safety recall list. A previous recalled unit was returned, but this certified refurb is described as the updated version and has been reported working fine.
It can run for about 10 seconds per shot before needing to recharge or reheat, so it may require frequent pauses on larger areas. Keeping it plugged in and waiting for the orange handle light to turn off, then a little longer, helps it build steam.
A 20% coupon brought the delivered price to $13.45, and another checkout note says the coupon is applied after tax. That makes the final total depend on your tax amount and whether the coupon is accepted at checkout.
The listing photos show an extension hose, fabric nozzle, and fabric pads, but those extras may not be included with this refurb. If you need them, the accessories can add up to more than $40.
