Thanks OP - bought one. I have one of those rotate waffle makers I bought a while back - yes it sucks for storing - so this concept looks intriguing. Few thoughts - this does not come with any temp controls - but most of the reviews don't mention issues with the final outcome.

I picked one of these up at Ross a while back. I've only used it a handful of times but it's worked fantastic every time. I'll have to try sweet potato waffles. Sounds much healthier than our delicious experiment of smashing cinnamon rolls from a tube in it.

I have one of these. No temperature controls. It seems to cook for two minutes ... at least with the waffle mix recipe I've used for 40+ years.

I like that this has a ceramic heating surface. I am holding on to my Krups GQ502 waffle maker. I just need new (removable) plates for it and I am hoping Krups will make ceramic plates for it one day.

Just a counter point, having owned a similar machine, the kind with the removable plates that fit in the dishwasher are totally worth spending a few more bucks. Getting this type clean is difficult.
