Open box AirPods Pro 2 with the USB C case can arrive looking nearly new, with braided charging cable, extra tips, matching serial numbers, and warranty coverage that often runs into November. Several units paired successfully, updated firmware, and worked with Find My, with some also showing MagSafe charging. The main risk is quality control, since some pairs arrived dirty, re taped, missing or incorrect parts, or locked to a previous iCloud or Find My account. Returns appear to be the fallback when that happens, making this a decent sub 100 option if the unit checks out.
Some open-box units arrive in near-new condition with warranty coverage through November.
Several units can be added to the Find My map after pairing with an iPhone.
Some packages include a braided USB-C cable and extra ear tips, which can reduce immediate accessory needs.
Some units show firmware updates after pairing, indicating the device can connect and update normally.
Find My lock can prevent normal ownership use, and it may require returning the AirPods.
Some shipments arrive dirty or with damaged packaging, which adds cleaning and inspection work.
VIPOutlet open-box quality control can fail, including missing parts and earbuds tied to accounts.
Seller communication can be unavailable, leaving the eBay return process as the main recourse.

Not too shabby for sub-$100 but I'm sure there have been better deals... pretty satisfied.
