I did not see this detail from Brytesoft until I made the purchase: they tell you in the order confirmation that you only have 30 days to activate these product keys: Important note: Please activate your product key(s) within 30 days of the date of purchase. There will be no refund or replacement for any error reported to us for product keys that have not been activated within that period.
That is a deal breaker for me...

It's possible the next iteration of Windows is coming next year.... but it may require an NPU, which would exclude many machines.
Regardless, support for 11 should continue for years.

Honest question for anyone who is about to buy this:

If you know that this isn't a legitimate retail key (and it's not; Microsoft doesn't sell them for anywhere near this price to home users), why are you paying for an illegitimate copy when free alternatives exist?

They probably don't want you coming back in 2029 demanding a refund at that point. For everyone's sake it is probably better to use the key (any key) as soon as you buy it.

But on the other side I could see someone buying a key for future use as well. Who knows if they have activation windows that expire?

They are legit keys but likely purchased in bulk under the guise of government / corporate / educational / OEM bundle use and now are being resold outside of those channels. So they didn't fall off a truck, and they aren't pirated but aren't "retail" either. "Graymarket" is the popular term.

I remember years ago Tiger Direct would sell OEM Windows discs out of their B&M stores but would make you buy some kind of "hardware" in the same transaction. Could have been a $5 ATA cable for all they cared, just something so they could pretend you were building a PC.

it's a game microsoft plays. They don't care, the telemetry is what they're after rather than retail sales. They will take retail and make big bucks from bulk keys as it is. If they really had a problem with it they could clamp down on this stuff. I don't think they really care as they've done this as far back as I can remember. As long as you're using windows and not linux or something else they don't care. They want market share, telemetry and lots of both. Not saying they don't want sales because they'll take those too, but it's not the end all be all focus imo.

M1 series Mac - does NOT work native windows anymore. Only thru parallels. yes technically this works and $5 its worth to try!

You shouldn't need a new license to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11... Just upgrade through Windows Update...
