my house humidity was 19% we was petting cats and getting static, went and bought these last week, fill em up daily. registering about 40% now. needed for the pets, waiting for my store to price drop though, showing 49.99 which is what I paid.
I put them in the bedrooms. I ran them at full blast for a couple tanks. a tank lasts about 12 hours. It raised the humidity from about 22% to 50% pretty quickly. They are nice in that they have a humidity sensor built in and it will maintain that humidity i.e. 50%. They also have the hi, med, low setting. Then only negative is .8 gal is kinda small.
called in NY it's $29.97 thanks OP - update, rego park had 20 2-packs left.
not a design i want, but could use at this price. from my decades of experience, humidistats in such cheap no names, get notoriously inaccurate over time and become useless (best leave full on or full off) which is why i prefer a not electronic start version, so i can use my own hothouse quality humidistat and/or lamp timer.
