Was wondering the same. The typical 1kg spool thickness is 57-59mm while the 3kg thickness is 103mm. It'll fit on the AMS but 3x the weight. I would check on reddit. Some people have made it work with an external spool holder. Personally, I would not want to wear out my ams lite.

I have had issues using these big filaments rolls, always get filament stuck error because of how heavy they are and how hard they are to roll on a 608 bearing. On another note, these are usually cheaper on Sunlu's website if you purchase 3 or more. I believe it goes down to $26.99 each. Honestly its more convenient to just purchase 1kg rolls.

Going to guess the best way to print with this is to respond it onto a 1kg roll.

I haven't done it yet but I plan to print a filament holder so I don't have to do this. The kind with the rolling pin in center or the wheels on the bottom should both work though I think the rolling pin is more versatile.

I made a Pasta Lite along with the 3-5kg adapter that uses the roller bearing plate to reduce friction. It works quite well and isn't a terribly long print.

In for silver and gold. Really like using Sunlu filament and much less issues with their stuff vs the IIIDmax stuff I had used for years

Can people share thoughts and/or settings for Sunlu silk PLA+.?
I have some and have more layer separation issues with it despite bumping up temps. Also, seems more brittle than other silk filaments I've tried. I do love their regular PLA+.
