Not really because that one is weaker with 25% lower amp rating. Either will probably work for most cars when it is fully charged, however you want the highest amp rating possible because when you're stuck and really need a jump you don't want a weaker jump pack that can't quite crank over your motor when it is only 1/2 charged. You want one that will actualy start your car at 1/2 charge or even 1/4 charge. Spend a little more and you'll save yourself from a really annoying situation like that in the future. I've had an inexpensive (seemingly great deal) jump pack which I got for $30 that wasn't very powerful but could start my V6 when the pack was fully charged. Unfortunately if it was below 70% charge state it wouldn't start my car and after fully charging it and letting it sit in my car for a year it slowly lost charge and when I really needed it it was at 60% battery life and it wouldn't quite start my car which was really annoying. Sure I could top it off more often, like every month, but you shouldn't have to, and I wouldn't have had to if I just bought a more powerful one that could still start my car at any charge state instead of only when it was above 70%. I would have rather paid $150 more to get a better jump pack because the tow cost me $100 and my time I wasted waiting for the towtruck was at least $50 worth.

Would this work well with a RAV4 Hybrid for jump starting? I'm assuming hybrids don't need as much amps as non-EVs
this is faulty logic and has no basis in reality

The other poster was saying this (A3) is better than the other deal (Beta822). So I think they're right, the higher amps is better, but what you're saying is that even 4000A isn't high enough?

Is there a particular Amp number or other set of specs that you'd recommend?

Anyone know if the coupon is one per account? Ordered yesterday and today the coupon is being denied (multiple "apply" attempts made)

The amp rating on all jump packs are ridiculously inflated and should be considered false advertising, so real-world testing is the only way to get an accurate sense of which one is better. Project Farm channel is by far the best, most unbiased, and most scientifically accurate comparison testing I've seen and he has made 2 videos in the past 2 years testing all the common jump packs available on Amazon so I'd say watch those 2 videos to make the best informed decision for yourself. I got the Gooloo ($90) which is the 2nd best one he rated because the Noco ($300) was 3x more expensive and only barely more powerful.

True. The battery will need to deliver at least 9VDC and 150-300 A during engine crank to start most cars. Corroded battery cables over time can cause significant voltage drop during engine crank (V=IR), A jump starter won't help if the voltage drop is excessive due to heavily corroded battery cables. Also note that battery's output power can drop 25-35% in very cold temperature.

Worn out battery and corroded battery cables may start the engine, but they place excessive wear on the very expensive alternator. A proactive approach is to get a $30 multimeter with MIN/MAX function to check the minimum battery voltage during engine crank. Attach the multimeter's leads to the battery's +/- terminals and crank the engine. Consider replacing the battery and/or repair the battery cables if the voltage is under 9.6VDC under cranking load.

Most decent batteries will last 3 years under normal use. Check for minimum crank voltage once a quarter after 3 years. This will allow you to proactively address battery related issues.

is this limited to inflate car tires only upto 36 psi? Tires on my car require 50 psi.

what's the power source to this device?

8000 mah battery you charge. Which is like the bare minimum tbh. Only reason I'm skipping this is cuz of the small battery capacity.

specs look good, in for one. USB C and tire inflator are key.

36 psi in 30 seconds it says. 150psi... eventually. 36 should be good enough to get you home regardless.

Excellent battery booster. I used it over a month ago when the temperature plummeted to -33. worked with no issue.
Only thing it doesn't come in a hard case.
Good information.
