Just note this is the older Brushed version, instead of the newer Brushless motor. Not saying it's a bad deal but just pointing it out (because I was all excited about the deal but when I looked I would rather wait for the brushless design)

I went today to find this when my app said they had in stock. Arrived for an employee to tell me the last two were on the pickup shelf. He explained those on the shelf are considered "on hand"/"in stock". I found that to be very unhelpful when your app says 1-2 remaining and you take the time to drive in to buy. Oh well!

It's a good deal for the 4.0 battery alone.

Sometimes the system shows # available but if they are in limbo pick up they are schrodinger's stock. They may also be hidden in top stock in my past experience.

yup go with brushless especially if you're cutting thick stuff. My older brushed x4 would eat 4.0Ah batteries within minutes, compared to my brushless string trimmer.

$65 is not a good deal for 1x 4.0 Ah battery.

How else are we gonna get a bunch of people to drive around chasing shadows?

Interesting and makes me even happier I didn't jump on this deal. I have no real need for this tool today or anytime soon, but it's one of the tool types I would watch for and just get it if it's a great deal.

Also important is the brushless has the orbital cutting setting to cut wood quicker where this is one setting for blade action

is there a way to check real local stock price somewhere? or would it already show on the website with current location selected?

If you use the website, you have to constantly look for shops that have it in stock, and then chance your pickup location. All of mine say $139 though.
Use the app not the website...

Found 3 in Memphis TN at Truce .... Had to get someone to retrieve them from a Highbay... Makes me wonder if someone "hid" them... The employee stated he was going to get one too as they are so cheap

Just got 1 from West Inglewood location (cienega blvd) for anyone in so cal. There are 4 left. They are on a high bay with a bunch of other rigid stuff on the isle next to the main power tool isle. You gotta look for the #1011706657 on the box and get an employee to grab it for you (they usually don't look to hard so finding it yourself first is best)
