I've been searching for a few weeks for a polycarbonate checked luggage. This looks to be a bigger savings thank the 30% cents hat it shows (if you check the price history, it shows $459 for this set). I pulled the trigger. Thanks, OP!

The one time I had an issue I took it to the samsonite store and they shipped me a higher quality replacement under warranty, assuming you're willing to travel to find a store...

I personally don't like the hard shell luggages. Seen many get cracked and all scratched up cause they get thrown around.

I have flown with this internationally to several countries using several airlines. No problem at all. You'll be fine.
