Samsonite Omni 2 is a lightweight hardside set that packs well and has held up through years of frequent travel, with intact handles and wheels and solid real world durability. The external USB port with an internal battery holder adds handy airport charging, and the 28 inch checked bag is the most practical size in the set for many trips. The 19 inch carry on is notably small, and the 28 inch can be oversized if expanded, so airline rules may matter. A dependable travel set if the size mix fits your packing style.
Families packing for weeklong trips, because the expansion and larger checked sizes hold enough for a family of four.
Frequent flyers who want a durable hard-shell set, because the handles, wheels, and shells have held up through years of repeated travel.
International travelers checking larger bags, because the 28-inch size is the best balance between too-small and too-large checked luggage.
Travelers who want a carry-on with onboard charging access, because the outside USB port connects to an internal battery holder.
Travelers trying to maximize carry-on packing space, because the smallest bag is substantially smaller than comparable carry-ons and can feel comically small.
Shoppers who need a 28-inch checked bag that stays under airline size limits when expanded, because it can be technically oversized.
Passengers flying airlines with strict carry-on enforcement, because the expandable portion may need to stay zipped before boarding.
Travelers who want the largest possible checked suitcase, because the 30-inch option can be too big and more likely to trigger weight issues.

I have four of the small carry ons and the largest size for a family of four. This set is great. I have literally had my kids sit on top of the carry ons and wheel them without issue, many times (unfortunately for me). I would have considered this but we're all set for now. With the expansion, the carry ons hold enough for us at least.
