Features:
- Controlled fiber release provides perfectly even nap, while natural rubber offers consistent feel and reduced shock. The Championship line provides unparalleled consistency every time you hit the court.
- While regular duty tennis balls are best suited for soft, clay courts, they can also be played on all indoor and outdoor hard court surfaces as well.
- Penn Championship is the Official Ball of USTA Leagues, so you know you're playing with high quality and consistent ball. Available in extra-duty felt, regular duty felt, or extra-duty high altitude felt. USTA and ITF approved.
- Interlocked wool fiber ensures the all courts tennis balls will play like new for as long as possible.

These are $1.66 a can
Costco is $2.75 a can
Both are "Championship" but Costco are "extra duty" and the Woot are "regular duty"? Buying mostly for my teenage son, and balls tend to go missing pretty quick (& before they are dead) with the group he hits with. They use Penn Championship extra duty for comps, like the Costco balls.
Net/net: are the "extra duty" balls worth $1.10 more per can? Do they last twice as long?

FWIW, I find a few dead balls in the boxes of Penn extra duty I buy from Costco.
