From what I read it comes down to if you're okay with a console piano or want something portable. The PX-770 is more complete because it's got the built-in pedals and stand. But people say the action and sound on the Roland are better.

Why does it look ugly? This is the type of stand you want, not the X-style that interferes with your legs (unless you want to only stand up while playing).

Some are only getting these as props for their livestreams. He sounds like a he only plays the picture not the actual instrument anyway.

No, the "ugly" comment relates to the WAF (wife approval factor) where my wife shot me down on a stand like this because this is ugly in a living room. There are other design types besides this and X-style stands (which I agree is bad unless you're standing up only). As far as music goes, I've played violin since age 8 and studied Guitar Performance at the Berklee College of Music (on a full merit scholarship after winning multiple 1st place gold medals at Berklee's Jazz Fast through high school).
